Demystifying the World of Insolvency

Insolvency is an area which may be unfamiliar to many lawyers but it can have an impact on a wide range of issues, from matrimonial matters to commercial disputes. Dr Paul Moorhead will use case studies to provide a practical overview of the Insolvency Act 1986 and will debunk some common myths about insolvency.

About the speaker: Dr Paul Moorhead is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and holds a PhD in the law of personal insolvency from Lancaster University. He has been appointed on over 650 insolvency cases and was named Corporate Insolvency Practitioner of the Year (Small Firms) at the Insolvency and Rescue Awards in 2013.
