Neil will provide a simplified and relevant overview of the GDPR and how the regulation will impact on law firms. He will also walk participants through some practical steps to ensure compliance.


Speaker Profile:

Neil Maude heads the Software division of Arena Group. His role includes strategic responsibility for development of Arena’s software products, including document management and business process software. He is also in demand as a speaker on related issues having recently spoken at ExCel and NEC events on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), process automation and innovation.


Neil has been involved in GDPR for several years, including contributions to pre-legislation consultations with industry experts. He is already working alongside a number of customers in education, legal, financial services, logistics and other sectors to help them on their journey towards GDPR compliance.


A firm believer in the ability of technology to improve service delivery and efficiency, Neil has been involved in projects for SMEs, education, large corporates and multinationals. His broad experience of project delivery brings a wealth of knowledge as to how technology can and should be used, along with the challenges of implementing change in organisations.


After a career in software development, Neil joined Arena Group in 2006 as a project manager, and has held management responsibility for the Software Division since 2008, joining the Group management team in 2009.  He holds a BA/MA in Mathematics with Computation from The University of Oxford and an MBA from University of Warwick Business School.
