President's Golf Day 2008

Sheffield & District Law Society’s Annual Charity Golf day took place on Wednesday 24th September 2008. The Golf Day was again held at the famous Lindrick Golf Course near Worksop. There were a total of seven teams that took part in the competition which was predominantly made up of lawyers and accountants from across the region. The event was organised by the Immediate Past President of the Sheffield District Incorporated Law Society, Donald Coutts-Wood who is the Captain at Lindrick Golf Club. Congratulations to the winning team, Wake Smith & Tofields Solicitors which was captained by Duncan Shepherd. Second prize went to Ashton Morton Slack with Bank House Chambers taking third.
The day overall was a great success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part. More importantly, the Society raised approximately £500 for the President’s chosen charity, The Spirit of Sheffield Children’s Trust. |
