President in Jail Break

08 August 2008

Our President, Frances Woodhead, has been asked to take part in a jail break for  the Charity " Lost Chord" which supports those who suffer from dementia. More details about the event are outlined below by Frances and there is also additional information in the attachment.

'To secure my escape Judge Murphy requires  a bail payment of £1000. Although my eldest son has said he would pay a significant sum if they detained me, I hope most of you would be willing to make a small contribution for a worthwhile Charity to have me released!  If you would like to support this, please can you let our manager Katherine Powell have cash or a cheque payable to SDILS by  5th September, which we will then make available in Court on the day'.

'I hope this will be a fun event and that some of you will be able to come to Court on the day - it is only for a short time and will be good for raising the profile of the Society and our profession'.
