ANNUAL DINNER 2008 - 1 February 2008

The Annual Dinner on 1st February was a memorable and successful evening. The Society was honoured to have the Deputy Vice President of the Law Soceity Bob Heslett, and His Honour Judge Murphy as speakers.
Over 420 guests were welcomed to the Cutlers Hall by a string quartet and Champagne Reception.
The Society was was again delighted to entertain a number of distinguished guests. These included, the Lord Lieutenant, David Moody, the Lord Bishop, the Right Rev Jack Nicholls, the Lord Mayor, Councillor Arthur Dunworth, the High Sheriff, Colonel Jonathan C V Hunt, the Master Cutler, Gordon Bridge and the HM Coroner, Mr Christopher Dorreis OBE. We were also delighted to welcome representatives of the judiciary and other professional groups with hom the Society and its members enjoy close working relationships. |
