Long standing Social Secretary elected Deputy Vice President of the Sheffield & District Law Society

Jessica King of CMS has recently been elected Deputy Vice President (DVP) of the Sheffield & District Law Society. In a close race with Lisa Haythorne of Derbyshire Law Centre and Paul Henocq of John Gaunt & Partners, the newly qualified lawyer obtained a majority vote and was elected DVP to work alongside President Paul Singh and Vice President Frances Lavender.

 

Jessica has served two past presidents as Social Secretary and has been an active member of the Sheffield & District Law Society for quite some time. Jessica is a Sheffield native and attended both Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield for her undergraduate degree, masters degree and LPC. She is now a lawyer in the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector at CMS. On receiving the majority vote, Jessica said that she was “overwhelmed and honoured to be given such an opportunity and looks forward to working with the committee and helping to grow the Sheffield & District Law Society successfully.”
